I have lived in District 48 since 2004 and raised three children here, each of whom graduated from JCPS schools. My oldest is a Social Worker, my youngest just graduated from the Brandeis Law School at the University of Louisville and my son is a Marine.
After 22 years as a practicing attorney focused on employment law, I answered a calling to teach. While maintaining my law practice, I worked part-time with recovery students at Kammerer Middle School, helping them develop the confidence, discipline and skills they need for success. I have served as a Girl Scout Leader, an officer in School and Kentucky Parent Teacher Student Associations, and have been a member of the Site Based Decision Making Council. I have also served on the Board for Kentucky PTA and the Women’s Network and Louisville Restorative Justice.
